Tampa Bay Lightning stay alive in the Stanley Cup Playoffs

Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs played between the Tampa Bay Lightning and New York Rangers at Amalie Arena. It was a thrilling day for hockey fans. After going down early in the game, Tampa Bay made a comeback and survived in the Stanley Cup.

However, during the prominent win, Ondrej Palat scored the 10th goal of his career in the Stanley Cup playoffs, with 42 seconds remaining in the third period, and the Tampa Bay Lightning won 3–2 against the New York Rangers.

With the game-winning goal Palat passing Tyler Johnson for the most in Tampa Bay Lightning history. So, not only are the title hopes alive for Tampa Bay, but Ondrej Palat also made history against the Rangers.

This is a great moment for Ondrej Palat and the Lightning franchise. The team has been performing well in recent years and as a result the franchise aims to secure a third consecutive Stanley Cup. As long as Palat and his teammates can stay focused, Tampa Bay can definitely make a comeback in this series. Although they are down 2-1 now, this organization has the feel and persistence of things in Game 4 as well.

The defending champions found themselves 2–0 in the series and 2–0 at one point during Game 3. However, Lightning rallied in the third period to take the win, looking amazing throughout this series. It will be interesting to see how the next competition plays out, as it is do or die time for Tampa Bay.
